The past can come back to haunt you in all parts of your life.
Are you doing what is expected of you in your current role and adding value as well,,or are you just meeting expectations?
Are you ready to lead the class of 2012? Their world is a whole lot different than the leaders who will be leading them when they enter the workforce.
Do all you can to understand each generation and to lead them as individuals with respect and high involvement and they will perform for you beyond your expectations.

Being recognized is in your hands. YOU control your future. Depend on yourself and believe in yourself. Look around and see what successful people are doing. Observing is a powerful teacher.
Getting into a leadership position and being a great leader are two different things, just like becoming a parent and being a great parent is quite different. There is not a lot of competition at the great level, so that can be to your advantage. Take advantage of this advantage and go for the gold.
The first visit by your customer must be great if you want them to come back. Read this letter a guest sent to me when I was at Walt Disney World. Priscilla is doing well and hopefully will be out of the ICU today or tomorrow and in the hospital for a week or so.

Hello Everyone….Late again today as my nursing duties had to come first. Thanks to all of you that have sent your best wishes to Priscilla. She is doing great and will be home from the hospital on Sunday or Monday. Now for today’s post. You can follow today’s advice in all parts of your life. Try it at home. It works really well!
When I was at Disney we focused on the Four Guest Expectations and the Four Cast Expectations. I have written a whole chapter about this subject in my new book. This is one of those common sense issues that are not common place in many organizations today. Make them the foundations of your organization and watch your performance take off.
